Acadian Aviation Pilot Training Center is proud to announce the formation of a flying club in Acadiana.
Acadiana Flyers was conceived to bring together aviators who enjoy flying and a shared ownership experience without the burden of aircraft ownership.
Acadian Flyers is open to all certified pilots who hold a private pilot single engine rating and above. The club owns a Cessna 172M, equipped for day and night VFR and IFR.
Club members have access for iPad for navigation and charting at no additional charge. Club members can access an XM Weather device (anywhere Map) at a normal charge.
The club rates for aircraft usage are 40%t below rental rates at FBOs and flight schools.
Acadian Flyers members enjoy the following benefit at no extra charge:
- Flight review, initially, and every two years
- Annual proficiency clinics
- Fall clinic for night currency and proficiency
- Spring clinic for high winds and crosswind proficiency.
- Wings Seminars
- Monthly dinner meeting and Open House
- Every member is insured and there will be no requirement to meet insurance minimum in club aircraft.
